Prince & Tuohey CPA, LTD was formed to provide personalized financial guidance to individuals and businesses. Our expertise ranges from tax planning and accounting services to financial planning and wealth management.

By combining our expertise, experience and the team mentality of our staff, we assure that every client receives the close analysis and attention they deserve. Our dedication to high standards, hiring of seasoned tax professionals, and work ethic is the reason our client base returns year after year.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help our clients maintain their financial viability in the present, while taking a proactive approach to help them achieve their goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients' needs through research and sound analysis. Prince & Tuohey, CPA LTD is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism. We have been a staple of the area's business community for years, and pride ourselves on the level of esteem we have earned.


Our Team


A Certified Public Accountant since 1987 and a Certified Valuation Analyst since 1995, Ann has had a diverse and varied exposure in many areas of accounting, taxation and bookkeeping. She began her career as the assistant corporate controller for Harland, Bartholomew & Associates in Memphis. After returning to Arkansas she graduated from UALR in 1986 while working at the public accounting firm of Jordan, Woosley, Crone & Keaton, CPAs LTD. She was promoted to a partnership in that organization in 1992 and served in that capacity until 1997. Ann left public accounting to specialize in medical administration and accounting for the next thirteen years. In 2010 Ann S. Prince, CPA LTD was created to serve the needs of individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations. She has brought this experience to form Prince & Tuohey, CPAs LTD with Mike Tuohey and provide their clients a full service tax and wealth management service.

Ann currently serves on three community service boards and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Arkansas Society of CPAs, the DeGray Chapter of CPAs, and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts. In 1996 she was appointed to the Arkansas State Board of Public Accounting by Governor Huckabee. She is a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and in her free time enjoys travel, reading and gardening.

J. Michael Tuohey, CPA

Mike is a seasoned tax practitioner and financial professional providing financial planning advice to small business owners and other professionals. As a CPA, financial advice is given with the goal to not only maximize net worth but minimize taxes. Mike is a native of Arkansas and spent the majority of his career in Virginia, Illinois and South Carolina. Throughout the majority of his career he served in an executive capacity in the financial services industry. He has brought this experience to form Prince & Tuohey, CPAs LTD with Ann Prince and provide their clients a full service tax and wealth management service. He is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and is a Certified Public Accountant. Mike is a member of the Rotary Club and has served on the Board of Directors of numerous charitable organizations. He is also a member of the Arkansas Society of CPAs as well as the Virginia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.

Samantha A. Rhoads, CPA

Samantha is a CPA with over 15 years of experience in both private and public accounting. She provides a variety of tax services to corporations, trusts, partnerships, small businesses, and individuals including income tax planning, tax return preparation, review, and IRS correspondence and representation. She also performs various accounting and attest services, such as compilations, reviews, and financial statement preparation. Prior to joining Prince & Tuohey, Samantha most recently served as a business advisor at a firm in North Little Rock. Her emphasis there was tax preparation, tax planning, and client services. Prior to that, Samantha served as CFO for a regional logistics company with over 50 million per year in revenues. She is a member of the AICPA, the Arkansas Society of CPA and the DeGray Chapter of CPA. Samantha obtained her BBA in Accounting from Harding University in 2003, where she graduated Cum Laude.
